Your dream is to be a singer, rockstar, and inventor, whatever. Everyone says follow your dreams and the money will come. Itâ€™s trickier than that. You have to have income coming in while youâ€™re building. Use your talents in other areas to make money while you are creating more. Donâ€™t quit your day job
Stop stressing out
The more you stress about money, the harder it is to get. Trust me, I know. Remind yourself how far you have come every night before bed. Count your blessings and be thankful. The positivity will overflow into your next day and make you a better salesman with whatever you are selling.
Donâ€™t put all your eggs in one basket
You hear that saying all the time. Itâ€™s true. You need different sources of income. I donâ€™t care if itâ€™s $10/hr. from 3 different companies or $2,000/month from 20 different clients. Either way, multiple streams of income will not only help you survive, but will also allow you to invest in more ways to make money.
Stop complaining and work harder
If you spent as much time working on your situation as you do complaining about your situation, you would probably be rich by now. If you think you work too hard, youâ€™re wrong. All of us have the potential work harder. If you are struggling financially, you need to work harder.

every hour of everyday, we prioritize without even noticing. I just prioritized this blog by sitting down to write it. Every decision, everyday counts. Sure- itâ€™s the big picture thatâ€™s important, but what do you think makes up the big picture? The little things. Donâ€™t find yourself spending too much time on work that wonâ€™t generate leads or income.
Stop playing around on social media
Why are you posting what youâ€™re eating for dinner every day if you need money? Sure, personalizing your social media accounts is key for engaging with your followers, but you have make money while youâ€™re at it. Everyone has something to sell. We are all salesmen. What are you good at? What would people pay you to help them with? If you donâ€™t know, figure it out. Youâ€™re missing out if you arenâ€™t taking advantage of the many FREE ways to generate leads.
Thereâ€™s networking meetings mornings, lunch and dinner. There is no excuse why you canâ€™t attend at least one a week. You will be surprised at how much revenue you can generate just from spending one hour a week networking. Get out there and meet the people you want to work with. They arenâ€™t going to come knocking on your door and find you. Find them.
Know your industry
If you are selling creative bouquets, you better know everything there is to know about the floral industry. Knowledge in your industry keeps you ahead of the competition. Go to Google news and type in key words that fit your industry and read up on the latest trends and surveys. Donâ€™t just keep up with your competition, stay ahead of them.
Time is money
Stop wasting time. Time is so valuable when youâ€™re trying to grow a business and bring in new cash. When networking, donâ€™t agree to every one on one meeting with people. You donâ€™t want to end up wasting 2 hours of your time when they pull out an MLM presentation. Know the agenda and objective before you agree to meeting with someone.
Itâ€™s up to you to be your own boss and challenge yourself. Youâ€™re not a kid anymore with mommy and daddy pushing you to succeed. You have to succeed because YOU want to. Make goals and timelines for yourself. Reward yourself if you achieve them, and punish yourself if you fail. Challenging yourself and stepping outside of your comfort zone is the best way to grow yourself and your income.
